About the Phoenix Inferno
The Phoenix Inferno is the newest expansion team in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), set to begin play in the 2026-27 season. Operating out of the state-of-the-art Fire ‘n’ Ice Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, the Inferno is committed to developing student-athletes and providing a pathway to the NAHL, NCAA, and professional hockey. Led by President Troy Mick, the organization brings junior hockey back to the Valley of the Sun.
About Fire ‘n’ Ice Arena
Fire ‘n’ Ice Arena is a 250,000-square-foot multi-sport destination currently under construction in Phoenix, Arizona, with an expected opening in August 2026. The facility features three ice sheets (two NHL-sized, one synthetic), a 2,500-seat main arena, basketball and volleyball courts, fitness center, dining venues, and more. It serves as the home of the Phoenix Inferno and the SSS Phoenix Hockey Academy.
